Vocal Stylist Extraordinaire, KEVON EDMONDS, the former lead singer with the legendary trio, AFTER 7 and now a solo recording artist who has appeared on popular stages around the world has been tapped to serve  as one of the two Judges for NEW YORK.COM/CITY OF FAME’s Vocal Talent Competition (Singing). The winner of the competition will perform “live” as part of the  TORCH OF FREEDOM’S Holiday Salute to Our Troops Concert, featuring Vocal Icon, ARETHA FRANKLIN,  scheduled for Sunday, December 14th at Times Square’s NOKIA THEATER. Edmonds has also been tapped to perform  several popular Chart Topping Singles with his former music group, AFTER 7 (as an opening act) as well as present a pre-CD performance with  a special song from his upcoming new solo CD, WHO KNEW

This Tribute Concert, a first of its kind holiday event will honor our troops (Sailors, Marines, Coast Guard and Airmen’s Club) with a Times Square celebration featuring ARETHA FRANKLIN who was recently named the “#1 Singer Of All Time” by ROLLINGSTONE MAGAZINE. In attendance will be members of our armed forces, politicians and various celebrities from film, television and sports arenas.
