Vincent "Young Heartbreak" Tucker to raise Five Thousand Dollars for Diabetes

On a mission to prove that young people from the hip hop
generation do care about their communities and giving back to others, urban music/entertainment executive
Vincent “Young Heartbreak” Tucker is joining the American Diabetes Association on a quest to cure diabetes.
As his latest philanthropic endeavor, Mr. Tucker will take part in Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes on
November 1st in Dallas, Texas to raise five thousand dollars for diabetes research.

The Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes is the American Diabetes Association's signature special events fund-
raising campaign. With strong support from the business community including sponsorships and corporate
teams, this campaign raises over $20 million yearly. The funds are used to improve the lives of people
affected by diabetes, funding diabetes public information programs, prevention and research for a cure.

According to the American Diabetes Association, 23.6 Million children and adults in the United States suffer
from diabetes. The seventh leading cause of death by disease in the U.S., Diabetes can, and does, lead to a
wide range of other serious health complications. By participating in Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes, Mr.
Tucker is not only walking and raising funds to eliminate diabetes, but cardiovascular problems, kidney
failure, blindness, lower limb amputations and much more.

Philanthropic by nature, Vincent “Young Heartbreak” Tucker has continued to bright light and attention to
different social causes ever since he entered the music & entertainment industry in August 2005. Just this
year alone, Mr. Tucker partnered with Koch Recording Artist Pikahsso to collect and donate clothes to the
homeless in the area, hosted a Hip Hop Helps Heal Breast Cancer Benefit show and formed his own nonpartisan
voter registration campaign entitled “Register To Speak Out!” Over the summer, Vincent became the
official Dallas / Fort Worth Street Team Leader for Rock the Vote, helping the 20-year-old organization
register 1.7 million new voters and counting.

“I need everyone especially my peers in the music & entertainment industry to donate to this cause,” states
Mr. Tucker. “Everyone knows somebody that has diabetes if they don’t have it themselves. I’m not asking for
big donations, maybe ten or twenty dollars. Let’s all do our part to help stop this disease before more
Americans suffer from it.”
