ANIZ - Empowering Children and Adults through Education and Intervention to Prevent the spread of AIDS to the next Generation
Atlanta, GA (BlackNews.com) - On Sunday, October 19th, thousands of individuals will participate in the largest and most visible AIDS charity fundraising event in the southeast. AIDS Walk Atlanta will start at 2:00 PM in Piedmont Park. Donations and sponsorships will benefit those affected/infected with HIV/AIDS.
AIDS Walk Atlanta 2008 needs 16,000 people to walk and participate in order to raise funds. Your sponsorship will benefit those organizations that are on the front lines helping those infected with HIV/AIDS get the support and treatment they need.
The annual impact of AIDS Walk Atlanta is tremendous. Proceeds benefit AID Atlanta and nine other AIDS Service Organizations including: AIDGwinnett, Inc., AIDS Survival Project, AIDS Alliance for Faith and Health(AAFH), Aniz, Inc., Home But Not Alone (HBNA), Jerusalem House, Positive Impact, Inc., and Project Open Hand.
