1. Since you've been in the industry practically all your life, what would you say is the key to longevity in this fickle industry?

To diversify your self. Not just stick to one thing. There are many aspects to entertainment and the field you started in may not necessarily be the one you stay in.

2. How was the transition from being a popular artist to becoming a highly sought successful producer?

The transition was almost impossible because all people saw me as was a rapper. So it took 7 yrs to make a solid change and breakthrough.

3. For some of the people who are unfamiliar with your work, could you list some of the songs you did as an artist as well as some of the artists and songs you have produced over the years?

As a artist my key records have been: The Rhythm. The man we All know and Love, Ownlee Eue (Only You) and One of the Big Boys

As a Producer some of the Key records to date have been On Fire - Lloyd Banks Switch - Will Smith Turn the Lights off - Tweet Listen! - Talib Kweli Understand - Christina Aguilerra and I am currently working with Keyshia Cole.

4. I just recently found out that you are working with an upcoming artist, what is his name and do you have any other artists coming under your wing?

Currently I'm working with a artist named Beyond Belief from Rockaway Queens On my new indi label MAKE NOISE!!! We have a video and single out and on sale in outlets like Itunes/ Rapsodey and Napster (mid sept) Also I have a pop/rnb singer from London named Jade Ewen whose video and single will drop Jan 09.

5. Can you make a prediction based on what you've seen in Hip-Hop, on the future of Hip-Hop?

I feel hip hop will lose most of it mainstream appeal and go back to a underground smaller fan base. I feel that's the best thing for hip hop based on the fact that it's become to much of a joke now. Rappers will be exposed for theire "false credibilities" and hip hop will go back to being what it started.. The voice of the urban culture. This time around, on a world wide scale... We will get great hip hop songs and artists from the uk , africa , asia.... But all in all Hip Hop will survive!
