South Florida readies the most anticipated performance of the year by Slip N' Slide/ Island Def Jam rap superstar Rick Ross.  On Sunday September 21, 2008, celebrities and fans will descend upon Club 112 located in Miami Gardens at 17800 North State Road 9 Drive for the "Trilla," Platinum Party, to celebrate the success and accomplishments of the Boss, Ricky Ross.

The Boss joins the ranks of a select group of MCs, while donning chart topping status--based on the success of his first two studio albums. "Trilla," released in March of this year, entered the Scoundscan Chart at #1, with first week sales at over 198,000 units.  The #1 Chart debut and #1 Digital Album - was powered by Rick's chart topping single, "The Boss," featuring T-Pain. "Trilla," also follows the success of "Port Of Miami," Rick's debut album, (released August 2006) which entered the charts at #1 with first week sales of 187,000 units.

On  the heels of a successful European tour, where fans worldwide were enamored and embraced the Boss beyond compare; Miami's Fat Promotions Inc. and First Klass Images, Inc., secured the  opportunity to bring Rick Ross home to Miami, for the first South Florida performance since the release of "Trilla".  This highly anticipated performance is expected to sell out.  Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties welcome home the superstar with open arms.

Furthering his success and entrepreneurial savvy, Rick Ross has embarked upon several   ventures including the launch of his label, Maybach Music Group; an album and independent film entitled, "H," a joint venture with Birdman, the CEO of Cash Money Millionaires/Universal Records. "H," representing-Hustling and Honor, is set to be released at the end of 2008. Furthermore, this luminary is currently in the studio gearing up for the album of all albums entitled, "Deeper Than Rap," with an expected release in the first quarter of 2009.   

Additionally, the Carol City Cartel a/k/a Triple C's (Rick Ross, Nitty Torch and Gunplay) will release "America's Most Wanted.,"   on the Maybach Music label in 2009.  The Boss is also embroiled in the project of Maybach Music's latest signee, Mass Pike Miles. Miles, a Boston native and the son of music great Miles Davis, is an expressive and gritty soul singer and songwriter who undoubtedly brings heat to street-certified R&B singers, something the music industry has been long awaiting.
