Kingdom Records Receives Nine First Ballot Stellar Awards Nominations!
2008 has been great for Kingdom Records. The highly successful Chicagoland Indie label rolls on with eight first ballot nominations for the 24th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards, which will be held January 10, 2009 in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to a "Female Vocalist of the Year" first ballot nomination for Cynthia Jones and a "Choir of the Year" first ballot nomination for Shekinah Glory Ministry, Kingdom Records producers and songwriters have also been nominated: Latoska Travis & Daniel Weatherspoon in Category # 2 for Song of the Year - JESUS, Daniel Weatherspoon, in Category # 9 for Producer of the Year.
