Back from a seven-year absence from the music scene, CASE is poised to release The Rose Experience his 4th and most reflective project yet. The Rose Experience stays true to CASE’s signature sound - soul music with a twist of new jack and hip-hop –and is sure not to disappoint fans. This album, which will be released on his own imprint Indigo Blue features new songs such as “Lovely” and “I Can’t” and will take listeners on a journey into love and relationships from CASE’s perspective.

Fans have fallen in love and grown with CASE since his career took off in 1996 with the release of “Touch Me Tease Me” from his first self titled album Case. The hit song, co-written by Mary J. Blige with guest vocals from Foxy Brown sold over 1 Million copies. In 1999, he released Personal Conversation which featured hit songs “Happily Ever After,” and “Having My Baby.” In 2001, as the first artist on the new Def Soul imprint, CASE released his third album Open Letter and topped the charts with the hit song “Missing You.”  He also expanded his music catalogue by working on soundtracks for films including: Rush Hour, The Best Man and The Nutty Professor, II: The Klumps.

Even though CASE has been “absent” from the music scene he has still kept busy.   In 2006 he was part of successful Ladies Night Out tour with Ginuwine, Jagged Edge, and Donnell Jones.  He also started his label Indigo Blue in partnership with Michael “Blue” Williams after parting ways with Def Soul.

When asked about The Rose Experience, CASE says, “This is the first album I produced and I knew exactly what I wanted to say.”   From the sounds of it, he also knows exactly what music fans want to hear. Songs “Lovely,” “I Can’t,” and “Me & You,” are just a  few from an album full of songs ready to attract new and satisfy long-awaiting fans.
