DEJAHVUE BLOW'S UP AT RADIO STATIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY!!!!

Brooklyn’s newest hip-hop diva, Dejahvue, makes a smash at radio stations across the nation with her fresh, fun, but not-to-be-played-with debut single on Pink Panther Records, “I’m That Chick” (remix).  Originally produced by Sheldon “Teflon” Harris, and David “Miz” West, the remixed elements come through producer Larry “Detroit” Nix.  Quoted by Hip-Hop Weekly as “a triple threat….and more than a pretty face,” Dejahvue’s debut single, “I’m That Chick” is garnering more than 500 spins weekly, at over 20 radio stations across the country.

With a breakout single and sound very reminiscent of a young Roxanne Shante, Dejahvue is a bonafied lyricist, with a flow that is surely to cement her as one of today’s top female MC’s.  Currently raking in a total of 495 spins weekly at urban radio alone, “I’m That Chick” (remix) steadily climbs to the top of the charts at a surprising rate.  Stapled the “Princess of Rap,” Dejahvue’s “I’m That Chick” (remix) has become somewhat of an anthem for teen girls across the nation.  As she plans to tour markets garnering top radio spins of the record, Dejahvue comes as a breath of fresh air within the hip-hop culture bringing a sense of femininity, and grace to a genre already portrayed by the media as tough, crime-ridden, and stereotyped.

With the overt sexuality out of the equation, she’s taking you back to the day’s of Lil Kim, and Foxy Brown in terms of female MC’s actually being portrayed as feminine beings, with a love for fashion, make-up, and as she oh so poignantly references, her “lipstick, not lip-gloss,” Dejahvue will certainly be breaking the mold of female MC’s to come out of NY in the past 10 years as a lady.
