This Weekend, Sun. April 13th- Miami welcomes the 1st NORTH BEACH TROPICAL MUSIC & SPORTS FESTIVAL SERIES, A Free Latin Lifestyle Experience @ the Beach for 5 Sundays : 50 International Artist, Beach Volleyball Tournaments & More

R. Paniagua Inc., the event and content provider company, announces its new annual beach series, "AT&T North Beach Tropical Music & Sports Festival", kicking off on Sunday, April 13th. The day's festivities will combine, a world class beach volleyball tournament, domino program and live musical performances, featuring Latino, Tropical and Brazilian artist. Taking place five consecutive Sundays from April 13 to May 11th, 2008, from 11:00 am to 7:00pm, at North Beach at Miami, (73rd & Collins), admission is free and is open to all ages.

Patrons can participate in a bevy of activities. People can expect to have fun while soaking up the sun, indulging in tropical dancing and delicious Latin cuisine. Sports fans can enjoy a plethora of activities from 12noon to 3pm, ranging from competitive beach volleyball tournaments to dominoes. At 3pm, those who like to gyrate their hips to hot tropical rhythms will enjoy weekly performances by Salsa, Merengue, Reggeaton and Brazilian. A weekly dance contest will be implemented with prizes including round trip tickets on American Airlines.

Playing host to this landmark event, 'AT&T North Beach Tropical Music & Sports Festival', is North Beach at Miami. "This is a thriving area of the beach. North Beach is on the rise with new restaurants, new condos and a beautiful beach area. Our goal is to work with local community leaders to establish Miami's North Beach, as an alternative for beach, sun and music lovers" said Ralph Paniagua, founder and CEO of R. Paniagua Inc.


Each event will present a variety of live musical performances by stars from Puerto Rico, Miami, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Venezuela and Colombia. The performers set to take stage range from salsero Michael Stuart and to the ever-popular Eddie Santiago, making this festival a fantastic way to spend a Sunday on the beach with the entire family.

Sports activities will take place in the sand bowl directly behind the band shell, with beach chairs available for rentals on a first come, first serve basis. The beach volleyball tournament will feature some of South Florida's best players in a five-week program.

The tournament will be organized and implemented by the FIU Sports Dept. Participating athletes will compete for prizes and the title of 'King and Queen of the Beach'. In addition, adjacent to the sand bowl, a mini-domino tournament will add to the fun and diversion.
"This event will position North Beach at Miami as a new alternative for beach, music and sport enthusiast. In addition to the amazing beach, the area provides ample parking and plenty of affordable restaurants", added Paniagua.


The AT&T North Beach Music and Sports Festival is presented by AT&T and is co-sponsored by Dominican Republic Tourism, U.S Army, American Airlines, Don Q Rum, Spalding, North Beach Band Shell Trust, The City of Miami Beach, Monster energy Drink, FIU, COL 95.FM and Mega TV.
