So now rappers are supposedly using steroids. What is this world coming to? It’s been reported that 50 Cent, Timbaland, Wyclef Jean, Tyler Perry (Didn’t know you took steroids for that?!?!?) and get this, Mary J. Blige, has received shipments of steroids! Now, I can believe 50 may have received a box or two and you might have to question Timbaland based on the look of his new physique, but Mary? In all fairness, you have to give these people the benefit of the doubt if that is the case, but most people are under the false impression that steroids are only used to enhance muscle and that’s not the case. I was given steroids several years ago when I had a keloid on my ear, so maybe that’s why these entertainers allegedly received shipments of steroids!

And I have been discussing the state of music to several people over the last several months and I have to admit that I am disheartened by what’s out there! Our parents had the likes of Marvin Gaye, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Donny Hathaway, Otis Redding, Al Green, Minnie Riperton and the likes. Then we were able to witness Luther Vandross, Peobo Bryson, Shirley Murdock, Anita Baker, Prince, Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind and Fire, Rick James, Gloria Gaynor and Chaka Khan. Then we moved on to Babyface, Bobby Brown, New Edition, Gerald LeVert, Johnny Gil, D’ Angelo, Erykah Badu and Amel Laireux. Now, we are ‘blessed’ with the likes of T-Pain leading the charge of ‘successful’ singers in this era! And don’t let me even speak on Hip-Hop and the ring tone era we are currently in! I tell you! I can imagine these young people in 40 years ‘reminiscing’ of the ‘good ole days’!

Britney Spears has flipped (as if you didn’t know!) but she can still catch it! The New York Knicks are still the worst team in New York! Isiah Thomas is STILL working at Madison Square Garden and James Dolan is STILL his butt buddy. And I know I am going to be looked at like I have 14 eyes when I state this but The New York Giants will meet The New England Patriots in The Super Bowl and WILL WIN IT!!!!

Now this dumb bickering between Democratic presidential candidates Senator Barack Obama and Senator Hillary Clinton is just ridiculous! This ‘race’ shouldn’t be about race, it should be about who will be better at the job and little spats like this can turn into ugly confrontations that take away from what the issues should be about. I do agree that race does play a big part in things, especially in politics, but I would rather hear how racism, bias and bigotry will be handled when dealing with minorities.
