BE PATIENT!

It's amazing what can happen in the course of a day. It's well documented that I am currently supporting Senator Hillary Clinton and I guess because I am Black, it's a sin for me to not be supporting Senator Barack Obama. I have gotten emails and have spoken to people who feel that I am not supporting the right candidate. That may be the case, only time will tell, but in the meantime, I still have an open mind but still feel the same as I have in recent months. It kills me that when Obama won the Iowa Caucus, you would have thought he actually won the presidential election! I do agree that it was a historic moment and that he may have deserved it but then out of the woodworks, I had people hitting me up telling me that I will be wrong, that I am going to feel foolish, etc. Then the polls predict that he will run away with the New Hampshire primary and all of a sudden, Barack Obama IS President of The United States!

Now that Hillary has officially won New Hampshire, I want to see how many of these same people will 'hit me up' again gloating! I have never said I disliked Barack and I also said that up until it is time for me to vote for a candidate, I will listen, watch and observe who I feel will be the best candidate. I am still going to vote for Hillary as it stands today although Obama is still impressive. As the saying goes, it's not a sprint, it's a marathon. The only thing I ask when you approach me gloating is to do the same when your guy doesn't win.
