I went to Reverend Al Sharpton's 53rd birthday party last night at Fashion 40 in NYC. I am still amazed that Rev. Sharpton is only 14 years older than me and I am always amazed when I am at his birthday party since this was the third time I was invited and went (Thanks, Jkeonye Campbell!). The place was full of politicians and surprisingly lacked a Hip Hop presence (outside of Wyclef Jean), which I feel is sad, unless, of course, not many in the Hip Hop world was invited. That's another topic for another time!

Distinguished people included the hosts, WBLS' Wendy Williams and New York State Lieutenant Governor David Patterson (my former neighbor when I lived in Harlem), former New York City Mayor David Dinkins (who looks great by the way!), former heavyweight champion Lenox Lewis, Boxing promoter Butch Lewis, Writer Nida Khan, NV Magazine owner Kyle Donovan, Charlemagne The God (Who is shorter than I thought), Ja Rules' L.I.F.E. Camp Executive Director Erica Ford, Hot 97/The Ave Magazine's Raqiyah Mays, Police Brutality Shooting Victim Sean Bell's fiancee, Nicole Paultre Bell and Sean's best friend, Joseph Guzman, Czar Entertainment's Jimmy Rosemond and Attorney Ed Woods.

Well, Isiah Thomas wasn't there and for good reason! He's about to continue his non- winning streak on the court if indications prove correct. His dumbass and James Dolan deserves every punishment they are about to receive, if only for the reason of being assholes. Well, ok, they shouldn't be harshly punished for being assholes but when you blatantly lie and make yourselves seem like angels, you deserve some type of punishment! Mr. Thomas is a basketball coach and he claims he never curses or uses foul language. Yeh right and I am light skinned and tall!
